Industrial oven maintenance & PPM
Planned servicing, inspection and cleaning of ovens, conveyors, provers and flues, with findings turned into priorities and a practical repair plan.
Plan the tasks. Prepare the repairs. Use the shutdown well.
Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) brings equipment care, inspection and follow-up work into an organised programme. BOS coordinates oven servicing, specialist cleaning and the relevant burner and electrical work around equipment condition, operating duty and production needs. Findings become maintenance priorities, with people, parts and access prepared for the work that follows.
Ovens, conveyors & associated equipment
- Mechanical servicing of oven drives, chains, bearings, support rollers and band tensioning and tracking arrangements.
- Planned inspection and cleaning of baking chambers, access doors, fans, dampers, flues and associated prover equipment.
- Burner, electrical and temperature-control servicing coordinated with the appropriate specialists.
Task schedules & shutdown planning
- Equipment coverage and tasks developed from condition, operating duty, maintenance history and relevant manufacturer guidance.
- Visit frequencies and shutdown packages agreed with your team, with routine care and identified corrective repairs planned separately.
- People, parts, cooling, access and site arrangements prepared before attendance.
Maintenance logs & component follow-up
- Work carried out, operator observations and relevant condition findings recorded against the equipment.
- Recurring faults, wear items and replacement-part requirements reviewed for follow-up.
- Identified defects prioritised with your team and carried into defined repair or improvement work.
What your team receives
Your team has a clearer basis for maintenance budgets and production planning: what needs routine attention, which defects need corrective work, and what should be prepared for the next shutdown.
- An equipment-based task schedule with agreed coverage, visit frequencies and production windows.
- A coordinated plan for servicing, cleaning, specialist attendance and required parts.
- Maintenance records, prioritised defects and separately scoped repair or improvement actions.

Before attendance
A programme built around the equipment.
Equipment condition, service history and production requirements help define the maintenance tasks. We agree coverage, visit intervals and follow-up arrangements, with planned servicing and any corrective repairs kept clear in the programme.

How BOS brings it together
Engineering work, clearly organised.
Findings become work priorities.
We review equipment condition, reported symptoms, operator observations and maintenance records. Findings become a defined list of tasks, priorities and any further investigation needed.
Prepare the job before attendance.
BOS brings the work, people, parts and access into one plan. Allowing for component lead times and production windows helps your team organise the work and understand the likely commitments.
Close the loop after the work.
Work completed, inspection findings and specialist returns feed back into the equipment record. Outstanding defects stay visible, with recurring problems and follow-up priorities reviewed for the next visit.
Prepared for the equipment.
Competent people and reviewed methods support each task. Cooling, access, isolation, permits and handback are planned with your team. Where confined-space entry may be required, the assessment and specialist arrangements are established before work starts.
