The condition-review package

Useful deliverables.
An agreed scope.

The inspection depth, report format and technical input are confirmed in your quotation. A review can stand alone or inform planned maintenance and remedial work.

  1. A discussion of your oven

Discuss the oven make and type, operating concerns, maintenance history and the purpose of the review before agreeing the work.

  2. Inspection of agreed accessible areas

Review the areas and components included in the scope, with access, isolation and site requirements arranged beforehand.

  3. Photographs and recorded observations

Receive a photographic record and written condition observations, with the inspected equipment and relevant findings clearly identified.

  4. Technical assessment and senior review

The assessment matches the agreed inspection depth. Senior technical review is included where specified in the quotation.

  5. Prioritised recommendations

Understand which findings need immediate attention, which work should be considered for the next shutdown, and which items need ongoing monitoring.

  6. A proposed next-work plan

Use the findings to plan maintenance or further investigation. Proposed repairs, specialist work and testing are defined and quoted as required.

  7. Clear boundaries and limitations

The report identifies anything outside the inspection scope, areas that could not be inspected, and findings requiring further evidence or specialist investigation.

From findings to decisions

Three practical priorities.

01 / ADDRESS

Immediate attention

Findings calling for urgent action are flagged clearly and discussed with the site.

02 / PLAN

Next shutdown

Work needing preparation is identified with a proposed scope and priority for the next available window.

03 / WATCH

Ongoing monitoring

Items for your team to watch, or for an agreed future review, are recorded with suggested follow-up.

The review process

A clear route.
From inspection to action.

Your condition report supports the next maintenance decision. Further works follow an agreed scope and quotation.

  1. Discuss

Set the purpose, equipment coverage and inspection scope.

  2. Inspect

Review agreed accessible areas and record condition.

  3. Assess & report

Prepare findings, photographs and the included technical review.

  4. Prioritise

Distinguish immediate action, shutdown work and follow-up.

  5. Plan

Agree maintenance, repairs or further investigation.

Scope and limits

Clear about what
the review covers.

A condition review is not a statutory inspection or certification. Inspection coverage depends on the agreed accessible areas and components.

Further testing, specialist investigation and repairs must be explicitly scoped. The quotation and report identify the boundaries of the work, including anything that remains uninspected.

Experience and delivery

Practical oven experience.
Prepared, documented work.

Keith Browning’s around 50 years of practical oven experience sits alongside BOS’s organised preparation, engineering delivery and clear reporting.

Technical assessment and senior review are defined for the package. Relevant specialist expertise and equipment are arranged for separately scoped investigations where required.
